Nagaland's Ruzhazo village residents meet President Murmu.

Residents of Ruzhazo village in Nagaland, once a host to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, experienced a momentous national integration tour to Delhi and Amritsar organized by the Assam Rifles under IGAR(N) from November 16-27. A significant highlight of their journey unfolded on Friday, as the delegation had the privilege of meeting the President of India, Droupadi Murmu, at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

In this meaningful encounter, the President expressed admiration for the commendable efforts of the Assam Rifles in advancing the welfare and progress of the populace residing in remote regions. The tour not only provided the residents of Ruzhazo village with exposure to the historical and cultural richness of Delhi and Amritsar but also served as a platform for fostering national unity.

This initiative stands as a testament to the role played by security forces like the Assam Rifles in not only safeguarding the nation but also actively contributing to the socio-economic development of communities in distant corners of the country. Such engagements exemplify the spirit of unity and national integration, reinforcing the bonds that tie diverse regions and communities together.
